Visitor’s Information
We pride ourselves on being a healthy, healing
environment. For the comfort of our patients and your loved ones,
please help us to maintain a quiet, soothing environment in patient
care areas by talking quietly. Waiting areas are located on each
floor across from the elevators.
Visiting Hours:
Visiting hours are designed to allow friends
and loved ones time to spend with you. However, visiting hours
are also limited to specific times during the day, so that you
have ample time to rest and recuperate. These hours also allow
time for our staff to provide care and perform tests and treatments
with your comfort and privacy in mind.
Please observe the following visiting hours:
• Noon to 2:00 p.m.
and
• 6:00 to 8:00 pm.
If a family member has specific needs and
may require additional time visiting with you, please speak to
your nurse or a member of your healthcare team.
The Maternity Pavilion:
• 10:00 am to noon
• 4:00 pm to 8:00 pm
Maternity Unit hours are designed to allow
friends and loved ones to share in the joy of the new arrival,
as well as to give the new mother and her family private time for
rest and recovery.
Visitor's Information
Please stop at the Information Desk for the
room number of the patient you are visiting. If you have any questions
during your visit, feel free to ask any volunteer or hospital employee
for assistance.
- All visiting privileges depend on
the patient's condition, as determined by the primary nurse.
- It is recommended that there be
only one or two visitors with a patient at any one time.
- For their own health and safety,
children under 12 are not permitted in patient areas, except
for the Maternity Pavilion. Also, children should not be left
alone in waiting areas.
- Any visitor with a cold, sore throat,
or other contagious illness should not visit patients.
- Hand washing is the most important
means of preventing the spread of infection. All visitors are
urged to wash their hands before entering and leaving the room.
We appreciate your cooperation. If at any
time you need to speak with someone regarding concerns during your
visit, please contact the primary nurse on your floor.
