Franchise Model:
FOFO model (Franchise Owned Franchise Operated)- Investment: The franchisee will handle both capital expenditure (CapEx) and operational expenditure (OpEx).
- Support: Soch will provide assistance with advertisements and promotions.
- Space requirements: Size: 800-1500 sq ft
- Operational Support: Soch has dedicated teams for various tasks and supports day-to-day operations.
Location: Ground floor in prime retail areas
Store Frontage: Minimum of 16 feet, preferably 20 feet or more
CapEx Details
- Security Deposit: As per landlord requirements (IFRSD)
- Store Interiors: Based on actual costs; design and execution by Soch
- Refundable Stock Deposit: Rs. 1750-2000 per square foot of carpet area (refundable at the end of the tenure or upon exit)
- Stock: Provided on a "sale or return" basis

q. Is there another franchise model besides FOFO?
A. Yes, we offer both FOFO (Franchise Owned Franchise Operated) and COFO (Company Owned Franchise Operated) models. In the COFO model, the company handles rental expenses, while the franchisee covers all other costs. The COFO model operates with a lower margin than FOFO, but the investment remains the same.
Q. Will I have an exclusive territory?
A. No, we do not offer exclusivity in our contracts and do not plan to in the future. We aim to strengthen our association with existing franchise partners by opening multiple stores across various geographies.
Q. Should prospective franchisees have a business background?
A. Not necessarily, but having a business background can help you better understand Soch’s operational methods.
Q. How much training is provided by Soch?
A. We assist with recruitment by screening and interviewing prospective employees. Initial training is provided for all staff, with periodic skill enhancement sessions. Additional full training sessions are available upon request and at the franchisee’s expense.
Q. What is the term of the Soch franchise agreement?
A. The franchise agreement term is 5 years.
Steps to Become a Soch Franchisee

Step1
Do Your Research / Site Selection
Select your market and identify suitable locations based on our specifications. Once you have shortlisted potential locations, share the details with us for evaluation and approval.

Site Visit/Approval
After receiving your details, our team will visit the proposed location to assess its feasibility. If the location meets our criteria, we will proceed with formal approval from the Senior Management Team (SMT). Upon approval, you can proceed with signing the location.

Interior Budgeting
We will provide a comprehensive interior budget, including approximate costs for interiors. Final plans and budgets will be shared with you.

Signing of the MOU and Making Deposits
Complete the MOU documents. All required deposits must be received by Soch to initiate the fit-out process.

Review of the Franchise Agreement
We will share the detailed terms and conditions in the franchise agreement draft for your review. The draft will be emailed, and a hard copy will be sent for your signatures.

Staff Recruitment & Training
Our HR team will assist you in reviewing CVs, conducting interviews, and selecting the right staff. Adequate training will be provided to ensure your team is well-prepared.
